Over 40 and Rocking Great Health?

  • Over 40 and loving it?
  • Do you feel more confident at this point in life?
  • Or maybe your career is just where you want it to be?
  • Happy not to accept BS now that you are very much a ‘grown up’?

My mother in law says that once you are over 40 think of looking after your health like putting money in the bank. Invest in your health now and you won’t pay later.

1. Exercise

Keep yourself supple and boost your metabolism and heart rate with 10 – 30 minutes exercise 3+ days a week

2. Nutrition

Don’t skip meals. Include plenty of veg and some fruit as well +

A bit of protein (for good tissue health and mood-lifting neurotransmitters in the brain reducing depression and poor memory) A bit of Carbs (boosts your energy and serotonin levels making you feel happier)

3. Friends

Face to face meet ups with mates boosts self esteem, reduces stress levels and, can mean less risk of diabetes, heart disease and strokes.

4. Stress

Mid point (and beyond) can mean looking after older parents, children, having a demanding career, being a householder and more.

Stress can trigger unhealthy changes in the body such as increased blood pressure, lower libido and faster cell death by inhibiting the natural heart rate.

All of this can contribute to you ageing faster, so to maintain a healthy heartbeat, breathe in through your nose for four beats and out for eight at least twice a day or anytime you feel under pressure.

This will activate the vagus nerve which runs from the brain to the pelvis, relaxing the heart, muscles, and blood vessels.

5. Supplements

As an addition to a good nutritious diet, I am a big fan of great quality supplements like Higher Nature https://www.healthyhomeopathy.co.uk/products/

Over 40’s definitely need as a basic start a good multi vitamin and usually Vitamin D + Calcium.

A Mineral Check test will give you a tailored nutrition plan to help you improve your health naturally

About Me

I come from a family of Homeopaths and grew up enjoying natural health care. In my 20s I developed anxiety and this quickly became debilitating. Homeopathy was the only thing that helped me. From that experience I was inspired to train as a Homeopath at the Centre for Homeopathic Education. Since 2006 I have been in professional clinical practice.

I am also a trained Foresight per-conception practitioner, Gentle Birth practitioner and registered with the Society of Homeopaths. As well as my busy clinic, I lecture, mentor and teach.

I offer special treatment packages to help and support you to feel happier and healthier naturally. If you want to make improvements in your health then please get in touch.

I know how important it is for you to find the best person to work with, that's why I offer a free 20 minute consultation so you can find out more.
