This time of year many of my clients tell me that they are not sleeping well.
Helping you to get good sleep actually starts during the day. Look after yourself, you need 1.5 – 2 litres of water a day (depending on your size) and you need a varied, unprocessed balanced diet.
Day light is really important to help regulate your natural rhythms. Every day go outside even for a few minutes, or at least sit near a window, it will make you feel good and will help promote better sleep.
Have you given much thought to your evening routine? A few tweaks can help you have a better sleep. Avoid stimulants like caffeine and have herbal tea like chamomile instead (more suggestions are in my latest YT video)
Unwinding with your devices won’t help. An hour or more before bed put the screens away, no TV, phones, laptops, tablets etc The blue light from screens interferes with your melatonin production inhibiting your sleep. Instead why not read, sketch, meditate or have a warm bath?
