Every day take a few minutes to exercise, eat whole nourishing foods, enjoy fresh air and daylight, live long and prosper.
Be Holistic
Your health is a totality, that means you cannot separate your physical, mental and emotional health, they are intertwined in you. Look after all aspects of you health and don’t underestimate how important it is to support yourself mentally and emotionally. Whether you are an artist, meditator, yoga-bunny, cook or writer enjoy your talents every day.
Treasure the things that make you feel good and make up who you are. It is good for you and your health, value them.
Be Resilient
Only you can give yourself time every day to develop your mental and emotional health. You could do this through art, music, meditation, sport etc whatever you like.
By dedicating a bit of your time every day to yourself (even 20 minutes) you will become resilient and mentally stronger.
Society and community matters
Corona virus has taught us that individualism may be important but we do not exist in isolation, we are all part of communities and society. When we work together and support each other we can do wonderful and amazing things.
In 2020 many people rose to the challenge to help others, people like footballer Marcus Rashford were inspirational social leaders. Do good things, big or small, it makes you feel good and the world a better place.
