I was so proud of myself when I passed my driving test first time at the tender age of 17. But a few months later I was driving with my friends pilled in the car and I had an accident. II was not my fault but it did not matter, it still made me feel terrible. Later that year I went off to University in London so driving was not needed to get around and it did not feature in my life for quite a while.
Years rolled by and I got married, moved to the suburbs and had babies. Driving became something that you had to do to get anywhere with all the baby kit. I got back behind the wheel and felt sick with nerves. I panicked what was I going to do?
I spoke to my mum (who is also a Homeopath) and we made me a ‘panic kit’. In my panic kit we put a bottle of Rescue Remedy and a bottle of Aconite. Before I would leave home I would have an Aconite, adding another to my bottle of water. As I sat in the car I would have a few drops of Rescue Remedy and keep it by my side.
My panic kit got me back behind the wheel confident and able to drive again, even with squawking babies in the back. If you have moments that can trigger anxiety then maybe you need a panic kit too?
